Dr. Lipton received his first Bachelor of Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he majored
in Medical Biology and Immunology. He then pursued his chiropractic education. Dr. Lipton is a graduate of
the National College of Chiropractic (NCC) in Lombard, Illinois. There he received a second Bachelor of
Science in Human Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree. NCC (which recently changed its name to
the National University of Health Sciences) provides its students with a science-based curriculum focused
on biology, anatomy, physiology and biomechanics.
During the practical portion of his education, Dr. Lipton completed rotations at the Chicago Chiropractic clinic and Salvation Army clinics while concurrently
volunteering as director chiropractic services at a non-profit community outreach program, the AIDS
Alternative Health Care Project. His hard work paid dividends when he was then selected to participate in
a clinical internship at a prestigious multidisciplinary clinic for six months prior to graduation.
After graduation, Dr. Lipton accepted a position at North Shore Spine and Sports Therapy, where he had done
his internship. After three years he was promoted to the position of Clinic Director. This experience
provided him with substantial clinical experience and allowed him to treat a diverse assortment of patients
and their corresponding conditions while working closely with medical doctors, physical therapists, and
massage therapists. Dr. Lipton returned to his native New York in 2003 and has been practicing in Manhattan since.
Dr. Lipton has continued with his chiropractic education, attending seminars on rehabilitation
protocols, sports injuries, and chiropractic techniques. He was distinguished as a Certified
Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the most
respected regulatory body in the fitness/personal training industry.
Dr. Lipton is firmly committed to providing professional, ethical and quality care to all of his
patients. He encourages his patients to take an active role in their health and provides comprehensive
patient education and self-management techniques to facilitate complete recovery and a thorough
understanding of their health.
